Behold my new thing: “Kinda movie reviews”! I watch a lot of movies. And I decided to count them here and write stuff about them that comes to my silly head. It’s not reviews, actually, it’s just stuff. Ok? Just stuff. So, today’s movie was “The Pirates! Band of Misfits”. I deliberately missed it in theatres because I wanted to watch it in English (godawful Russian dubbing is the worst anyway). Need I mention why I wanted to watch it in English? Martin Freeman and David Tennant, of course. And a glorious thing that is Aardman Animations. And the whole British glory. Ok, there might have been several reasons. Shame on me, but I couldn’t recoginse Tennant’s voice immediately. Shame, shame, shame. Glad that Martin’s unmissable. The way he speaks through the nose, ahhh. Adorable. Children’s books are waiting for you to narrate them, Martin. Overall, it was a funny little thing! I was amused at the amout of time and effort put into making the movie. Certainly waiting for the next Aardman project.
